Day 1: Arrival in Luang Prabang |
Arrival at the airport. Welcome and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon: Visit the stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrines of Wat Aham and of Wat Mai.
Climb up the top of Mount Phousi to explore the gilded stupa and admire the sunset over city
and Mekong river. Visit night street market of handmade textiles of hill people. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 2: Visiting Khouangsi Waterfalls
|

In the morning: rise early and see monks receiving offerings. Visit Phousi Market, then
continue to the Khouangsi waterfalls; along the way visit minority villages Ban Na Oun,
Ban Ou and Ban Thapene; splash around in the pools near the waterfalls. In the afternoon, return
to Luang Prabang and visit the weaving village of Ban Phanom on the road. Admire the sunset
at Wat Siphouthabat. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 3: Visiting Pak Ou Caves
|
|
In the morning: visit Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong temples before excursion by boat on the
Mekong river to visit the Pak Ou caves; along the way stop at Ban Xang Hai village to
taste the local rice wine. In the afternoon, return to Luang Prabang and stop at Ban Xang Khong
and Ban Xieng Lek to see the manufacture of Jute Sar paper. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Elephant Camp – Tad Sae Waterfall |
|
In the morning, visit the “Tiger Trail Elephant & Adventure Camp” and 1–1,5 hour of ride
on elephants to Tad Sae waterfalls. At the waterfalls swimming and splashing;
In the afternoon, free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 5: Luang Prabang departure
|
|
After breakfast, free at you leisure till the time to transfer to the airport for the departure. |
